Death of Robert the Strong in the battle of Brissarthe

This engraving, titled “Death of Robert the Strong in the battle of Brissarthe,” depicts the death of Robert the Strong during the Battle of Brissarthe in 866, in the context of the clashes between the Franks and the Vikings.
